Donate to New Leash on Life
Thank you for considering a tax-deductible donation to New Leash On Life Chicago. Our organization relies entirely on donations from private parties and businesses in order to save the lives of dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. NLOL Chicago is a completely volunteer-run organization! Since we have no paid staff in Chicago, you can be sure that your donation will directly benefit the dogs. We only wish everyone could see what we see each day - the generous contributions that are made by people like you, turned into stepping stones and a New Leash On Life for the abandoned, abused and homeless.
Every donation, no matter how large or how small, makes a difference! Donations also make great gifts! (If you would like us to send a card to your donation gift recipient, please email us.)

How We Use Your Donations
“It is the goal of New Leash On Life Chicago to find permanent, loving home for these forgotten and “harder to place dogs”. The dogs that make up the #nlolfamily come in many shapes and sizes. They have different backgrounds, personalities and needs. We don’t shy away from the “harder to place dogs” we will continue to focus on seniors, medical cases, dogs with behavioral needs and of course our beloved bully breeds.
We can’t do it alone. It is a mammoth task. We have a fantastic band of volunteers who help with all aspects of our organization, but love doesn’t buy all the necessities to keep us running and successful. This is where you come in — this is where you can help!
Your donations, not matter how small, go a long way to help our dogs who need basic and specialized medical needs, training, and all general care.

NLOL operates solely on donations, and every cent we raise goes directly to our dogs for medical care, food, supplies, and training. We can do this because we are volunteer-run and do not have a facility, and instead rely exclusively on foster homes. As you can imagine, our veterinary costs quickly add up and comprise the largest portion of our expenses each year. Each our dogs receives a full medical exam, spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip, and we pay for any necessary treatment, surgery or specialist that may arise while they are still under our wing, no matter how expensive. Since they are opening their homes to one of our pups, we also ensure all foster homes have the supplies they need, including crates, food, toys, dog beds and even dog training when needed.
New Leash On Life Chicago simply cannot do this without the help of our donors. On behalf of all the dogs saved and those still dreaming of rescue, we thank you for your support!
*Remember that we are a 501(c)(3) corporation, so all donations are tax deductible!*
